I consider this goal complete when/if: I complete a photography course.
Why it’s on my 101 goals in 1001 days list: I’d love to be better at photography, be it using film or digital. I hope that doing a photography course would teach me about composition, and about using different photography techniques to create some amazing shots.

I consider this goal complete when/if: I buy a digital SLR camera.
Why it’s on my 101 goals in 1001 days list: I bought Andy a Nikon D60, and I’m completely jealous of it. Seriously, it is amazing. So I’d love to buy my own digital SLR camera, preferably a Nikon, so I can share lenses with Andy.

I consider this goal complete when/if: I develop my own photographs in either black and white or colour.
Why it’s on my 101 goals in 1001 days list: I love film photography. In fact, I prefer it to digital. I’ve recently started using black and white film in an Olympus Trip 35. I’d really like to try and develop my own photographs, partly because I find places that develop photographs are too happy to try and “fix” what they deem to be problem photographs. Maybe I’d purposefully took a photo that would be over exposed. There’s so many pictures that may be missed because of commercial development places. At least if I developed my own I could judge whether they were any good by my merits.

I consider this goal complete when/if: I complete project 365.
Why it’s on my 101 goals in 1001 days list: Project 365 is a documentation of a year of a persons life with one photo representing each day. Essentially, its a way of encouraging myself to take more photos by taking a photo a day. I’m not the greatest photographer, but I really enjoy it and would love to get better at it.

I consider this goal complete when/if: I attend a service at a Baptist church.
Why it’s on my 101 goals in 1001 days list: As with Goal 74 I have no idea what a Baptist church service would entail, but there is a Baptist church less than 5 minutes walk from my house, so I think attending a service would be a good way to find out more.

I consider this goal complete when/if: I attend a service at a Methodist church.
Why it’s on my 101 goals in 1001 days list: I only really understand what a Sunday service at a Catholic, and to a lesser extent Church of England, church is like. I’ve no idea what goes on at a Methodist church, or indeed what their primary beliefs are. I know they are a Christian denomination, and I know that they are against drinking alcohol (the Theatre Royal in St Helens never used to have a bar as it was owned by a Methodist family if I remember correctly), but other than that I know nothing about the Methodist church.

I consider this goal complete when/if: I watch a 3D film.
Why it’s on my 101 goals in 1001 days list: There isn’t any particular reason why, but I have never watched a 3D film. I’ve had dorky 3D glasses from magazines as a child, but actually watching a 3D film has completely passed me by. To be perfectly honest, I’m not entirely sure I fully comprehend what watching a 3D film would entail, which is part of the reason it’s on my list.
GOAL STATUS: Not yet started.
I consider this goal complete when/if: I am in the audience for a TV show recording.
Why it’s on my 101 goals in 1001 days list: It doesn’t have to be something like “The Price Is Right” where I could win something, but I would love to watch a TV show being recorded. Though it would eventually go out to millions of homes, for a certain number of months it would be like having a secret. A “I know something you don’t know” mentality. Plus, if there where lots of out-takes I would be able to watch it and be “oooh they cut THAT out”. No matter how many times it would be repeated, it would forever be “my” show.

I consider this goal complete when/if: I go to an auction.
Why it’s on my 101 goals in 1001 days list: When I was unemployed, I would watch loads of day time TV. The vast majority of shows involved auctions in one way or another, be it buying a house at auction, selling things from your attic at auction, or two teams of people trying to make the most money at auction from things bought at car boot sales. Auctions always appear quite glamorous on TV, and I would love to go and experience one (though not necessarily bid!).

I consider this goal complete when/if: I see a film at an IMAX cinema.
Why it’s on my 101 goals in 1001 days list: I wouldn’t say I’m a film buff, but I do enjoy going to the cinema. Whenever I’ve spoken to people who’ve seen IMAX films, they’ve always said how amazing they are, so I’d like to experience it.
